Use this chart and worksheet to compute the electricity cost of operating your new air conditoner, as well as the savings you can expect over the electricity cost of your old unit.
All annual cost estimates are computed from Pepco's standard electric usage formula.
Electricity rates are based on Pepco rates in effect as of June 1, 2006: $.1107591/kwh
for summer and $.1035691/kwh for winter.
*Rates include franchise tax, Mont. County energy tax, MD surcharge, & procurement cost.
